WELCOME GUESTS!
WELCOME GUESTS!
What a First Time Guest can expect at MBC...
If you are a recent guest to Mandarin Baptist Church, let me say that we are excited that God has led you to worship Him with us. We hope that your worship experience was exciting and that the Lord spoke to you. If you are planning to visit us, We want to take the time to let you know what you can expect at MBC.
PARKING
When you first enter our church campus, you will find visitor parking at the North end of the church campus in the Watson Realty Parking Lot. Mr. Watson is very gracious in allowing worshippers to park in some of their parking lot during worship hours. You will see signs stating visitor parking and there will be someone in the parking lot directing you where to park. We also have handicapped parking immediately upon entering the north end of the church campus.
WELCOME CENTER
Once you make your way into the building, go to the octagonal atrium and you will see the welcome center desk. Stop by this desk so they can take your name and escort you and your family to the appropriate Sunday School class. If you have children, you will be able to see which class your child will attend before making your way to your own class.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday School usually entails a time for announcements, prayer, and studying God's Word. Most of the adult classes focus on the same passage of Scripture. The teachers have a variety of teaching styles including some who are more lecture driven while others who are very applicational. Sunday School is critical for believers in that this will be your best opportunity to build relationships with same aged individuals who have a desire to know and love God more each day.
WORSHIP
We celebrate a blended style of worship here at Mandarin. All preschoolers (babies through kindergarten) are taken care of in our preschool department located near the welcome center in the atrium. Our preschoolers even have their own interactive wee worship service so they can begin to learn about God as well. We usually begin with a special and then we have a welcome time for all of our visitors. Members are asked to stand in honor of our guests (so we can find out who you are) and when we begin to sing everyone stands together. When the offering is received, children grades 1-5 are invited to go to children’s church. Our pastor,
Dr. Bill Yeldell, preaches a strong Biblical message and then we wrap things up with an invitation time for the congregation and visitors to respond to God’s teaching to their hearts.
